Happy Mother's Day Ideas

Here's another spin on the Live, Love, Laugh quote

Bloom where you are planted on brown with cream letters. You could also add flowers to the little vases if you wish.

Kitchens

My friend C sent these great pictures of some fun vinyl in her house. I love this Welcome with the iron key. She added the Welcome vinyl sign about a year after she put up the key and that was the first time her husband noticed the key was even on the way. It's amazing what a little VINYL ACCENT can do. :)

Let's EAT!
This is also one of my new favorite quotes. The secret to having it all, is knowing you already do. I just did this quote for someone and she changed to say the "Key" to having it all is know you already do. She put this up with family photos and a iron key at her house. Either way, is great and both quotes were surrounded by family photos.

Bathroom/Laundry Room

I can't take credit for this idea, but I loved it so I posted it anyways. I saw this idea on a website and then recreated it for our bathroom door. I can have any initial and it gives our bathroom just the right ACCENT.

I made this sign years ago for my sister's laundry room, but I thought you could it in any color, font or size and add it to your laundry room. I've heard other great quotes for laundry rooms --"Drop your drawers here.", "Laundry 24 cents", "Normal around here is just a setting on the dryer."

I've always loved this idea. I've seen this in many peoples home and I just love the simplicity of it and the reminder to have FHE.

Accents By Ali

Well after leaving my dream job at the PBR almost 2 years ago, I've really been missing the creative outlet that I used to have. Scrapbooking is only so fun, but I've been doing it for years. So, for Christmas this year, my adorable husband agreed to let me and help me start a VINYL lettering business. It's been a fun and busy ride and I wouldn't change it for the world.

It's only taken me a few months to get going on this, but life is busy when you start a new business and have 2 kids. I'm so excited to be launching this new site with some fun new ideas that you can do with vinyl lettering! I've been collecting ideas and working on projects and instead of waiting any longer, I'm just going to start posting. I'm not the best photographer, so bare with me, but hope you enjoy the journey. If you have any ideas or suggestions, send them my way. I love the creativity that comes with VINYL lettering.

A little bit about VINYL letters...
VINYL lettering is so versatile! You can use it on wood, mirrors, glass, cars, walls, and much more! You can say anything you want and add just the right ACCENT to your home, craft room, nursery, kitchen or any room for that matter. One of the best things I love about VINYL is that you can peel if off when you're done and it doesn't leave a mark.

A few of my favorite things to do with VINYL...

I love to change the greeting on my front door to say, Welcome, O Holy Night, Happy Holidays, etc. to welcome all the my friends and family to our home.

It makes great gifts for baby showers, weddings, Mother/Father's Day, Christmas, etc. You can personalize anything you want. I love to give wedding presents with their last name and then the year they were established.

Lastly, I love that you can design anything you want and make it fit your home. VINYL doesn't have to just have to be written in black or white and that there is a color or quote out there that goes with any lifestyle.

Hope you enjoy and feel free to send me your questions or ideas and I'll continue to post new pictures and ideas.

1. This is a great quote to have as you enter someone's house. Christ - is the center of our home. It can be done in any colors to to match your house.

2. Enjoy the Journey - I have this on my entry way table. I change this table out often due to holidays, etc, but it is always a great reminder.

Family Room Ideas

1. You can do this with any name. What a great quote - "Be true to who you are and the family name you bear." - Gordon B. Hinckley. He truly was a man who was the perfect example of "Being true to who you are."
2. This isn't the best picture, but you get the idea. I'm so grateful for my family and for them believing in me and for all of their creative minds!
3. In my friends' B's house, she loves initals too as you can can see. I just love her bookshelf!
4. If you look closely, this clock has a last name on it and the year they were married. You can make these clocks for like $70 or you can buy a clock at any store and add your last name to it and the year you were married. It's hanging over the mantel at my friends' house.

Wedding/Anniversary Ideas

1. Ok, so bare with me on this photo. I didn't realize how bad it was when I took it, but I already gave this away and I wanted to post it anyways. The quote says - "Grow old with me the best is yet to be."

2. My sister/brother-in-laws got married a few years ago and got this beautiful frame for their wedding. I was so jealous that last year for Christmas my cute mother -in-law had one made for me. I have this hanging over my entryway door. I like it because it's on glass and you can see the wall color behind it.
3. If you haven't notice, I practice a lot of ideas with our last name initial. This way, it never goes to waste and I think we have a fun inital to play around with. Here's a little 3 x 3 tile that is fun to have a shelf.
4. Here's what the above picture looks like without the circle around it. Either way is fun.

1. This frame could say anything that you want on it. I had this up in my family room for a while and now I have it in my son's room. I just love watching the 2 of them together - it makes my heart smile.

2. When my mother-in-law came to visit this past month, she said that every little boy should have this up in their room. I would agree.

3. The intial with the name over it has been a huge hit too. I've seen it on kids doors, in their rooms and bathrooms. It also makes for great baby gifts.

1. I love this saying - "I am a child of God." In these pictures, I've used it 2 different times. I have it hanging over my child's door at the moment, but you can have it anywhere. It's a great little something for a baby gift.

2. Babies touch our hearts from the minute we find out that we hear that tiny heartbeat! They are such a joy in our lives and a blessing. I love this quote - It's the little moments that make life big." Life is made up of lots of little moments, we just need to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Ideas for Kids Rooms

1. I've done this craft a lot for weddings and christmas gifts. It's so easy and you can do any initial or name on it.
2. I saw this idea in PotteryBarn and just loved it. So, I recreated it and you can do whatever colors or shapes to match your style and your nursery.

3. My sister has her kids names up in her house and I've always loved it. This is on our son's door.

4. My sister L has a lot of great ideas for her kids room. I used this Dr. Seuss quote that she had on her kids wall and used it on a magnet board. It's one of my husbands new favorite quotes. - "You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. - Dr. Seuss".
